What is Physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy is a science based healthcare profession concerned with human function,
movement and maximising potential. Physiotherapists are experts in analysis of posture
and movement and are trained to diagnose problems in the joints and soft tissues.
Physiotherapists look at the whole person taking into account previous medical history,
work and lifestyle, before making a diagnosis and devising a treatment programme
that is tailored to an individual's needs. Physiotherapists aim to find the underlying
cause of your problem to help prevent recurrence. This holistic approach ensures
that physiotherapists provide long term solutions and not just a quick fix.
Chartered Physiotherapists train to graduate level in assessment, diagnosis and
treatment of a wide range of conditions. The Physio 1 to 1 team are all Chartered
Physiotherapists who hold BSc degrees. The team are led by clinical specialist physiotherapists
who have completed validated post graduate level University courses, resulting in
further qualifications including Post Graduate Certificates (PG Cert), Post Graduate
Diplomas (PGDip) and Masters Degrees (MSc/MA).
The Physiotherapists at Physio 1 to 1 are committed to continuous professional development
and providing the highest quality treatment for their clients. You can expect high
quality hands on assessment and treatment and are ensured that you will be given
the advice and education needed to prevent recurrence of your problems.
